Yves Morard a French winemaker for more than 23
years was in charge of more than 250 Hectares of vineyards in the Bekaa
valley since 1980 .Soon enough the medals began to line up starting in
1989 with the silver medal at the Blaye Bourge International wine Competition
in Bordeaux. This was a start of impressive records. More than 70 international
medals and prizes including the famous “Civart” trophy were
attributed to his artistic creativity. In 1996 he left Lebanon but came
back in 1997 when he was offered to run the new Cellar at Cave Kouroum.
