Land Attributes

Our vineyards are a combination of sun, soil and soul. Cradled in Bekaa valley at an altitude of 3000 Ft. they offer the best premium wine associated with a minimal vineyard manipulation and intervention coupled with distinctive natural attributes.

Slope

Most of our vineyards grow on slopes that help trap the sun, and offer good drainage. Nearly all our vineyards are oriented around eight degrees toward the east. This will allow the grapes to catch the early morning sun to warm the plants after a cool or dewy night.

Terroir , the soul of the vine

Our vineyards have a nearly homogenous soil texture and structure. The dominant type is granular clayey calcareous soils with a pH around 8.2. Some other soils are pebby, sandy-clayey with considerable organic matter. Its morphology belongs to the order of Aridisols with Psamments that are pedogenic horizons, usually dry in all horizons and are never moist throughout 90 consecutive days when temperature is suitable for plant growth.
